There are mainly two types of seminars held at the CIMeC: Colloquia and Research Group Seminars.

An important element that brings together researchers from various backgrounds is the series of Colloquia offered over the course of each year. Now in its 19^th year, the CIMeC Colloquia host international speakers from all backgrounds in the cognitive and brain sciences.

The Research Group seminars allow mainly for cross-vertical collaboration (Faculty/Post-docs/PhD Students) since they are topic-specific. These seminars go beyond the traditional lab meetings to include students and researchers, possibly from various research groups, who share an interest in a particular topic and/or experimental technique. These meetings are posted on the Calendar page of the CIMeC's website.
