Enrollment Deadline
To secure your place, you must complete your enrollment no later than July 13, 2026.

How to Enroll
The enrollment process must be completed exclusively online:

INPS Registration
Scholarship recipients are required to register with the Italian social security scheme (Gestione Separata INPS) by the end of November.
- Please consult the guide "INPS Procedures for PhD Scholarship Holders" for detailed instructions.
- Once registered, you must send a copy of the registration receipt to this office.
- International Students: If you are coming from abroad, you can request the University to handle the INPS registration on your behalf. To do so, please check the dedicated option while filling out your online enrollment application.

Candidates with Foreign Degrees
If you hold a degree awarded outside of Italy, please remember to submit the official documentation regarding your qualification no later tthan 6 November 2026  (unless already provided during the application process, as specified in the admission call).

Welcome Office

If you are a non-European citizen the Staff of the Teaching, International Activities and Student Services Division of your competent disciplinary area will assist you with getting the Italian visa, with the submission of your request for the stay permit and with the accommodation opportunities (email: welcome@unitn.it).
Non-European citizens have to upload in Esse3Web their stay permit or copy of the acknowledgment of receipt provided by the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarter in Trento as soon as possible.

Before arriving in Italy, successful applicants must verify whether or not they need an entry visa (check at https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/).
If you need it, you must apply for pre-enrollment. The pre-enrollment is needed only to obtain the visa and must be submitted exclusively through the Universitaly website (https://www.universitaly.it/).
